I’m a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting people through anxiety, trauma, addiction recovery, grief, relationship difficulties, emotional pain, and major life challenges.

I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely heard, accepted, and supported without judgement.

My Approach to Therapy

My role is not to judge, diagnose, or tell people who they should be. Therapy is about creating a space where you can speak openly, understand yourself more deeply, and begin making sense of what has been weighing on you.

I see therapy as a collaborative process built on trust, honesty, compassion, and genuine human connection.

Your welcome, I’m Roger.

A Deeper Understanding

  • My own lived experience of trauma, recovery, and emotional healing continues to shape the empathy, compassion, and understanding I bring to my work.

  • Over the years, I have seen how healing it can be when people feel truly listened to and accepted — often for the first time in their lives.

Professional Background

I am fully accredited with the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP) and hold qualifications in Counselling & Psychotherapy and Addiction Counselling.

Over the years, I have worked across addiction services, mental health settings, youth services, and family support organisations supporting teenagers, adults, and families through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties..

Beyond Private Practice

In 2009, I founded The Harmony Workshops - music based mental health and addiction awareness programme that has supported thousands of people across Ireland in schools, youth services, recovery settings, and prisons.

This work continues to deepen my understanding of trauma, addiction, emotional pain, resilience, and the importance of connection in healing.
